Hello and welcome to cartafina. We make unique charts, maps and guides that help everyone do things better and faster.
what’s new
After weeks of study, analysis, preparation and creation, we finally completed the most difficult of all cartafina charts so far: the archetyper. This chart combines even more theories, philosophies, ideas and methods of the great thinkers of the past centuries on how to craft compelling stories. It focusses on one of the most difficult aspects of a storytelling project: the characters. Check it out!
what’s cooking
We’re working on the beatmeter, a chart intended to replace the file cards many authors use to organise their scenes This should be great. Also coming up: a chart to help authors create the story backbone and define character details. Stay tuned.
